The rooms are clean and are decorated in a lovely way. The food in the restaurant is amazing and prepared with an eye for detail, no matter if it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But the real heart and soul of this place are the people taking care of your well-being. Everybody at the antico forziere is a master in what they're doing and they put their heart into everything they do, and this is exactly how you feel during your stay at this amazing place. I wish I could give 6 stars and an extra heart.
The restaurant at L’Antico Forziere hotel is called I Rodella now, honoring the twin chefs in the kitchen. This a wonderful place to eat, the best near Deruta..less than 10 minutes away. I think it is one of the best restaurants in Umbria. Elegant dining room, warm welcoming service and terrific food. Traditional dishes are prepared with a creative twist, never just for show, but to enhance the flavors, and all is beautifully presented. This is Michelin star level cooking without pretension. A real find.
Elegant ambience, located over a small hill. The restaurant is hide, has a nice classic touch. The menu is very good but there are little disappointments. The "Tagliatella croccante" is not good, so avoid it. The big dessert plate was amazing. Service very slow and the place wasn't very crowded so if you're stopping here for a quick lunch just avoid.
