Hotel Spa Le Moulin de la Wantzenau

Such a gem ! This 30-room hotel is beautifully located in the countryside of Alsace, 20 minutes away from Strasbourg by car. I am the kind who pays attention to every detail; I was challenged as I couldn't find very much to comment on. The service is lovely, the food is locally sourced and/or home-made. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The surroundings are beautifully maintained. The cherry on the cake: the spa. The photos on the hotel's website are genuine pictures of the spa. I will return for sure!

What a fantastic hotel for an evening. We stayed here for one night as a group of three uncouth Essex boys on a European roadtrip and we were in love with the venue and its simplicity. The social areas are incredibly tasteful with an indoor space, front terrace, back terrace and a sunroom style terrace over the river. Gorgeous yet simple. The staff were incredibly generous and hospitable. The service was warm and the drinks and food were good. We are so pleased we stayed here for so many reasons. We just felt incredibly comfortable and we could switch off from daily life for a night. We hope to be back again! Thank you so much.

Great hotel. The location is in a very quiet area, surrounded by nature. We are not far from Starsbourg (20 to 40min depending on traffic). The breakfast was very good. The rooms are spacious. The staff is amazing.
