The welcome was warm and impeccable, and we discovered a room which, overall, was rather charming. However, as we paid closer attention, we quickly noticed some disappointing details. As soon as we arrived, looking down at the bed, we noticed white spots on the black blanket which serves as decoration. Although we hope it is toothpaste, this is still unacceptable for a 4 star establishment. The suspended ceiling light, which brings a beautiful warm atmosphere to the room, unfortunately spoiled this effect when a pile of dust fell on us while we were lying on the bed. Furthermore, we noticed the absence of slippers, which would have been useful for accessing the spa or simply moving around the room. Walking barefoot on a black carpet, undoubtedly very dirty (although this is not visible in this color), is far from pleasant, especially since everyone walks there in shoes. As for the water provided, it is presented in a large glass bottle, filled with tap water. Unfortunately, the quality of this water leaves something to be desired, which is unfortunate for this type of establishment. We also chose to dine there. Despite a restaurant that was not very busy, we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes to receive our starters, and another 40 minutes for the dishes. Although we opted for a full menu, the wait time ended up ruining our appetite, leaving us unable to have dessert. When we reported this to the staff, a young woman informed us that it was not possible to cancel the dessert, but that it could be offered to us as takeaway. However, the lack of a refrigerator in the room made this option impractical. That said, the view from the pool side remains magnificent and offers a very pleasant spectacle. Regarding the spa, the access and facilities are perfect: the water is heated to the ideal temperature, and we had an excellent time relaxing. Despite these inconveniences, we generally had a good time and slept well. We hope to return soon and note with optimism that these small points of improvement will have been taken into account to offer an experience worthy of the 4 stars displayed.
We recently stayed at the Pasino Hotel in Le Havre and were very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. Upon arrival, we noticed a significant accumulation of dust on the furniture (see photos), which caused my wife to have an allergic reaction. For a hotel of this standard, this is unacceptable. We were hoping for a clean and tidy room, but the housekeeping was clearly inadequate. We hope the hotel will take steps to improve room maintenance, as this experience spoiled our stay. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone sensitive to dust or suffering from allergies.
We stayed at this hotel from June 13th to 15th and had an absolutely disastrous experience, unworthy of a self-proclaimed 4-star establishment. From the very first night, we encountered an unacceptable hygiene problem: our bed was infested with dead flies, and a wasp was also in it. In the middle of the night, around 2:00 or 3:00 a.m., we had to contact reception, who moved us to another room. But this new room wasn't much better: there was a water leak in the floor, and what's more, it was a room designated for guests with reduced mobility, which didn't suit our reservation or our needs. The result: a sleepless night in unacceptable conditions. And the worst part is that we were not offered any kind of goodwill gesture. The manager, although informed of the situation, refused to do anything. There was no apology, no form of compensation. This is simply shameful. For a 4-star hotel, this kind of treatment is incomprehensible and absolutely does not reflect the expected level of quality. We are extremely disappointed, and this experience completely ruined our stay.
