Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän

Wonderful place, surrounded by breathtaking nature, great variety of activities to do at the resort and beautiful places at short drive distances. Lovely and very helpful staff too. We are very happy for choosing to satay here for the longest bit of our Finland trip.

Lovely hotel. + great rooms + dinner is ok, but not the best + breakfast buffet is huge + swimming access to lake is great - you have to pay extra for almost every activity - spa is okay, but honestly i expected more : it has no heated pools, all in all seems more like it is for kids.

We stayed here a couple of years ago for a couples stay which was amazing. Now we have added a baby into our family and my experience is everything but great. Booking with a baby/toddler on the website is problematic - the spa included option is disappearing once trying to book with a child, and room for 2 would not accommodate a baby but I’d be expected to book a room with actual extra beds although my child cannot use those? Tried to reach out to the hotel twice to clarify the child friendliness and how to best book this with zero response. Cannot recommend for families and will not stay here again for the sake of the lousy service and no response received despite 2 attempts
