Hotel & Spa Riad El Walaa

POSITIVE We were welcomed with a wonderfully smelling mint tea typical of the country, which immediately captivated us. During check-in, we were shown the most beautiful places and sights on a very clear map. In addition to a reasonable price, we were recommended other great activities such as quad bike tours and camel rides in various deserts such as the Agafy Desert. We were also offered booking options through the hotel. The hotel is very clean, quiet and breakfast in the morning on the roof terrace is a real treat. The location of the hotel is particularly noteworthy, as it is just a few metres from the city centre. The airport-hotel transfer went smoothly, on time and as agreed. NEGATIVE: There is only one negative thing to mention but the hotel may not be responsible for that. There were often power cuts in the rooms, so that when getting dressed or under the shower there was no light or the air conditioning was off for a short time. This Hotel is totally recommendable. Enjoy your stay!

Stay here was great, staff were lovely and breakfast was a delight each day. Only issue was a rude french man but he was just another guest. Not the Riads FAULT I guess.

Location is great and the breakfast was nice. Rooms are OK, but for the price I would expect more. We had a faulty leaking air conditioning unit that was fixed, but then leaked again during the night and flooded the room. Rated service as poor for two reasons. They added on a credit card fee at the time of payment that was not disclosed at the time of booking. This is against booking.com terms and conditions. They also used a poor exchange rate when converting the booking.com amount into local currency. This resulted in the invoice being 8% higher than stated on the booking.com booking. Not good.
