Needed a break from the city, saw this was an adult only hotel/spa and booked a weekend. This is a solid place to rest and relax. The buffet food is really good, and the service people are wonderful. Spa is clean and tidy; pools are warm and fun... and the saunas are perfect. If you need a walk, then a turn around the lake is a must.
I had such an amazing experience at this hotel. Looking for a peaceful place to rest and get away from hustle and bustle of Berlin, then sommerfeld is highly recommended. It's located in an amazing rural region, where there's also a wonderful lake nearby. ● NOTE: FYI, it is not located in zone C (the transportation zones of Berlin) , so if you're not going by your private car, make sure to buy the proper ticket.
I stayed one night in the hotel which was an interesting experience. It is a basic hotel which is good but the temperature in the rooms was a nightmare. Opening a window didn't bring any relief.
