Hotel Sporting Club

Beautiful views! After a slight mishap with our room, Noemi and Elisa, were able to get us in a room that we (me, my husband and 2 teenage boys) were all happy with. Great service and amazing location. There are 2 restaurants, bar and snack bar in the resort. The beach is private, with plenty of chairs and sport equipment. The pool is gorgeous and over looks the beach. We would definitely recommend this quaint resort for families or couples.

DO NOT COME HERE WITHOUT A CAR!!!! The hotel has a strict no outside food or drink policy. They should be required to post this on booking.com before hand. We are staying here for 14 days and the first couple days were a complete disaster. There are no walking paths from here to the town and one restaurant that’s 50/50 when it comes to customer service. They say no outside food or drink which is ridiculous because when we ate at the restaurant the first day they ignored us for 60 minutes brought the calamari 30 minutes later and then didn’t get us our pasta until after 25 minutes after the calamari! When we said it was terrible service they said “it’s hard and complicated”. The second time we went with a fabulous Danish couple in their 80s and the service was spectacular. We’re in our late 30s and we’re one of the only tables that tipped the staff, so not sure why we were treated poorly when we were alone. The taxi costs 35€-100€ per way!!! DO NOT STAY HERE WITHOUT A CAR!!!! The private beach is spectacular. The housekeeping is fantastic and the receptionists are very nice. The breakfast staff is also lovely. Most employees don’t really speak English. The hotel policies suck but the staff was great. You just have to budget about €200-€500 a day if you stay here. For a 14 day stay, it was way too much but nice for short stays.

Drinks unfortunately not worth the price and served in plastic cups, service barely existent. weren‘t able to pay for a beach day pass even though the hotel was empty. The view is very nice though.
