Great staff. Great amenities. Would highly recommend booking your stay at Hotel sporting. The Pool is very nice and the rooms are spacious.
Great location on the peninsula of the harbour. Rooms are overpriced and not up to a 5 star hotel. Especially when they have not opened the pool for the seasons opening and once opened you can not access due to wedding or private parties. Breakfast service is not coordinated. Orders do not follow and get misplaced. Breakfast-tea got served3 times without teabag just plain hot water. Lol
The hotel has a lot to offer, especially with its amazing location and a pool that provides direct access to the sea—truly a wonderful feature. However, our experience was somewhat bittersweet. We booked a room with a sea view, but upon arrival, we were given a room facing the garden instead. To make matters worse, we arrived at 1 AM, only to find that our key didn’t work—neither the key card nor the traditional key. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes before the issue was finally resolved. The cherry on top of this frustrating experience was the dog in the room next door that barked all night long. This made it impossible to get any sleep. I've never encountered such issues at a 5-star hotel before. Unfortunately, there were no apologies or any gestures to make up for the inconveniences we faced. It's disappointing, especially given the high expectations one would have for a hotel of this caliber.
