A wonderful experience. Beautiful historic building close to the promenade and pier. Big convenient room. Breakfast was so rich. It was one of the best I had. Breakfast room magnificent. After a long day, I enjoyed a swim in the pool and hot-tab. Reasonable price. A place to re-visit. Highly recommended.
Kamil, The Guest Service Relationship Manager is exceptional. Makes you feel so welcomed and has incredible attention to detail. Made the stay so enjoyable and pleasant. The hotel is very unique, has a good restaurant and spa. Totally recommend staying there
Mixed feelings. The location is great. It very nice to sit outside sipping a glas of wine and watching the never ending entertainment with the boats entering the canal. Unexperienced boaters squized in a tight canal with passenger ferries and the bridge openings, its is a must see in Gizycko. The Hotel: Breakfast is ok. Dinner buffé is terrible. Yesterday I ate from the childrens menu. Today i couldn't find any thing tasteful. But there is a very nice restsurant in the marina 10 minutes from the hotell. The chairs in the restaurant are funny. Feels like you sit on the floor. My 5 year old barely reached up to the table :-) Pool area is not suiteble for kids and play. Lots of sharp tiling and sharp edges. Slippery floor. Sauna, very tiny, and there is a sign saying you have to wear swimwear and you are not allowed to to throw water on the stones. It goes without saying but it should be the other way around. Kids playroom is ok. They also have a pool table but no ques or balls. I get the feeling that most things at the hotel are made to look good at a distance, but is not meant to be used. Finally, like other guests mentioned. The rooms does not have blackout curtains. At 21.00 it was still bright in the room. So dont go here with kids. I asked politly for something to cover the windows. The staff said they will fix it next day, but they ignored me. The AC had two modes on or off, either super warm or super cold. The bed is ok. Our room was very small and cramped but it worked.
