My husband and I booked this beautiful hotel at the last minute! We had a great time, I must emphasize the kindness and helpfulness of the owner and his staff, they immediately proved to be welcoming and courteous. As for the rooms, we stayed in a room of intermediate level but we had a wonderful view of the city and the mountains! For breakfast, lunch and dinner they offer a buffet part full of various types of local and non-local products, from fruit to vegetables, cold cuts, bread, various juices, cheeses and much, much more, instead, a part is served! A marvel!!! The hotel is well connected (by bus) to the center of Merano and other attractions nearby. I conclude by saying that staying in this hotel is good for the body (for the relaxation that the spa offers and not only!) and for the mind for the serenity it offers, so I highly recommend it!! Congratulations for everything!!
We felt very comfortable at the Hotel Starkenberg. All the staff were always very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Our dog also enjoyed the food. Great location. Minor criticism: It would be great if the rooms had air conditioning.
It was a nice experience, great weather and a nice outdoor and indoor area. The pool was a bit too cold for us but apart from that great. The room hat some unclean areas. The employees were always friendly and the food was a special experience!
