Hotel St.Gotthard

What truly stood out during my stay at this hotel was the outstanding service from all the staff, especially at the reception. The front desk team were extremely helpful, polite, and welcoming — greeting me with warm smiles and assisting me professionally from check-in to check-out. Other staff members, including housekeeping and room service, were also courteous and attentive, always making sure guests were comfortable. I genuinely felt like a valued guest. The service was efficient and thoughtful, and my stay was memorable thanks to this exceptional team. I look forward to returning because of the high level of hospitality.

Stayed for 1 night in July. The location is great, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast spread was outstanding — especially the Caotina hot chocolate with options of dark, white, and classic. However, the air conditioning in our room didn’t work at all. We reported it at check-in around 2:30 PM, and when we returned around 8:30 PM, the issue was still unresolved. The only room alternatives offered were either two small singles or a downgraded queen. That’s unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. It was impossible to stay in the room even for 5 minutes without cooling — they eventually gave us 2 fans, which made it barely livable and allowed us to get some sleep. But the overall experience was disappointing for the price. Early check-in at 8 AM wasn’t allowed, but they did store our bags and let us freshen up, which we appreciated. Overall: excellent food, hygiene, and location — but poor handling of a basic comfort issue ruined the stay. No refund or meaningful resolution offered.

my room was pretty decent, roomy, with a beautiful view. but my family members were sleeping in a different room where the AC didn’t work. As someone with really bad allergies, i could barely breath because of the floor, probably never vacuumed. having really bad attitude toward costumers is absurd for a 4 star hotel staff. the location however, was beautiful.
