Hotel Sturm Bio & Wellnesshotel in der Rhön

We had a little friends weekend here and relaxed for two nights. We had a four person room in the main building - with two separate bedrooms which was nice and big enough for us all. The highlight was the food, breakfast was a lovely buffet, amazing bread and made to order eggs of all kinds. Dinner was also like a buffet, amazing salads to choose from and you could choose from the main dishes and sides however you wanted. Everything we had was freshly made and very tasty! The sauna / spa area was quite nice, not very large but for spring that was ok, we had amazing weather and could sit outside at the pond and they are currently building another quiet room I believe. I wonder if it’s very full in winter if you have to fight for a place to sit but that wasn’t the case this weekend. Only downside to the location is the road is a bit close and you can hear it outside but that doesn’t bother me. Would definitely come back for a short getaway!

Fantastic place for relaxation, leaves nothing to be desired. Delicious healthy food, very creative chef. Comfy modern rooms and last but not least: a huge garden with a swimming pond! Two spa areas (1 indoors and 1 outdoors).

We had an amazing week at Biohotel Sturm, everything from the room with roof top terrace to the spa area was just wonderful! The small pond to have a dip in was a great addition and inviting to relax after a day of hiking the nearby Rhoen. The food was phenomenal and always fresh as well as a prompt and friendly service. A special thank you to the reception staff that sent my headphones I had forgotten promptly to my parents address for me to take home prior my flight back overseas. Highly recommend to have an extended stay at this wonderful place and will have very fond memories of our stay there.
