Hotel Suite Villa María

Just returned from a nine night family holiday at the Hotel Suite Villa Maria. We stayed on a half board basis. Firstly the standard of customer service from all the staff was absolutely first class and the best I have experienced anywhere. We stayed in a one bedroom villa and my daughter and family were upgraded to a two bedroom villa which was a great help. Both villas were well maintained and furnished well with everything you could possibly need, plus all properties have a great view from the garden areas. Although the site and the surrounding roads are quite hilly, assistance is provided with on-site golf buggies and a beach transfer bus. we ate in both restaurants which were excellent standard and good value if your on the half board basis. There is a small shop on site which was great for buying water etc and not having to carry up the hill from the town. Note the shop is not open on Sunday/Mondays. The pool areas are fantastic with good quality sunbeds and heated pools, Never any issue here with people reserving beds. The negatives:- The website shows a sports bar, but this has been closed, although they said that another one will be opening in the future. Also the website shows a photo of the children's playground with a big slide etc. In reality a lot of the facilities on the playground have been removed. The pool bar restaurant had a big issue with flies in the evening that really spoils the experience. The main restaurant upstairs was closed down during our stay with no notice or communication which was a bit disappointing. When we questioned the staff we were told it was closed for a month. Overall we all really enjoyed our stay a would definitely consider returning and also recommending to others.

Our stay at Hotel Suite Villa María was absolutely wonderful! The place is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing vacation. One of the biggest highlights was the food – everything we tried was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The kitchen team truly knows what they’re doing, and you can taste the care in every dish. A special mention must go to Antonia – she is simply amazing! So friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. She made us feel at home every single day and was always there when we needed something. As we like to say: she’s always "at the dream" – truly one of a kind! Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and fantastic food in a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely come back!

We had a lovely experience at hotel Villa maria, the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Fernando, Antonina, and Antonia, but to be honest all staff were fantastic. It's a quiet part of tenerife, which really suited us as a family. If you're looking for the more lively part of the island, then its only a 20 min drive away. We hired a car, which was needed for us, you can take a 15-20 walk down to la caleta, which is beautiful, and has some lovely restaurants too. If you do decide to hire a car, do it online for a much better deal. So overall, we had a great holiday and I would recommend this for a nice pleasant family holiday.
