Hotel Sunce

We stayed here with my Family and this is a great B&B. The owner while not fluent in English is very kind and helpful and does everything that she can to make the stay comfortable. The breakfast is good and she personally checks in with every guest about their needs and wants. The location is great and easy to get around. I would definitely recommend this place for those looking at a comfortable and affordable stay

We left yesterday and miss this place so much. The highlight was the wonderful Mrs Mira, despite us not being able to speak Croatian we could really feel her love, kindness and warm heart in everything she did for us including packing her delicious breakfast into bags for us to take on an early morning tour. The hotel is just perfect with the beautiful beach and scenery only a few seconds away and easy access to central Split. Within the hotel everywhere was very pretty and elegant and I loved the inside pool and the restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea and breakfast buffet full of goodies including the popular omelettes and French toast. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and happy at this hotel- I really can’t wait to be back!

The main problem with this hotel is that the owner does not speak any languages other than German. Even something as simple as getting ice was a problem and she made it as if we were imposing! This vibe colored our entire stay. The room was ok but a bit run down in the bathroom, old fixtures, and the shabbiest towels I have seen in my life. Both the hand towels and bath towels were tattered at the edges. The outlets to charge your phone were 10 feet from the bedside. The mini-fridge barely chills anything and no way to increase the cooling. Pool had black mildew. There are many hotels along this fantastic beach. Keep looking for another.
