Hotel Sunny Corfu

Fantastic hotel off the main strip. Stay bed and breakfast and was placed in the new block "b" that was built around a year ago. The rooms are modern and extremely clean. Beds are comfortable and the ac is quiet (extra charge for ac) -we probably didn't need the ac as the rooms have fly screens but I get bitten badly so prefer ac and keeping patio doors shut. Shower is powerful and room has a fridge that does stay on when the room is left (key stays in wall to turns lights on). Room has kettles but no tea/coffee making items so bring own. Iron and hairdryer available from reception if needed. The pool and restaurant area very clean and sun loungers have comfort pads, its always easy to get a bed. Leo and Johny in the bar are very welcoming and always on hand to help with something if reception person is not there. The midweek Wednesday night entertainment was really good. Poolside breakfast and food is good but does take a while to come out. Little supermarket less than a minute walk for essentials. The only negative which I would suggest an improvement on is when the cleaners have been they leave the patio door ajar for airflow and the room is then left unsecure. I would recomend that they install sliding door security bars to prevent being opened from outside so doors can be left open while while guests are out and when sleeping. The hotel and area itself appear very safe but you never know who your fellow guests are, if I was travelling as a solo guest this would be a deal breaker. Came for a chilled few days relaxing and hotel was perfect for this.

Absolutely superb in all aspects. Accommodation was spotless and had everything required. Location was great. A shop 1 minute up the road and the main strip about 10 mins walk. The guys Leo and Johnny could not do enough for us and were always on hand with any query. Overall, no issues and will definitely return 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Just recently got back from staying here for 9 nights . We stayed in room 110 a 2 bed apartment . Basic rooms but spotless . Beds really comfortable,but pillows not so much . The cleaners do an excellent job and come in daily to empty bins and refresh the rooms . Towels and bedding changed every 3rd day . Reception doesn't always have someone on ,but Leo and Johnny are always in the bar and will always try help . Both really friendly . Breakfast is really good and they have good choice on the menu if you don't want to walk anywhere else . Pool area is kept immaculate and the only day we had trouble getting a sunbed was a Sunday ...it seemed much busier than normal . Noticed a few people putting towels down then going out for the day then coming back mid afternoon which is a bit annoying . The location is so perfect . Such a relaxing chilled hotel . Some lovely restaurants nearby. Some of our favourites were eviva and nefallis for desserts and the greek family tavern served the nicest food for evening meals . If you don't mind a walk others to try are calypso,cargo and Mediterraneo . Funky garden do the nicest cocktails . It's a good 15 to 20 minutes walk to the main strip ,but canal d'amour area is literally only a 5 minute walk . We would definitely return to sidari and recommend sunny Corfu apartments .
