Very well located, only problem might be the city bells that are perfectly in line to be heard at every single ring but you get used at the second day already. Rooms were clean and service was very good, in a cozy and comfortable place. They also have a nice wine chart for the restaurant.
Only had dinner, didn’t use the hotel facilities. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the servings, not that big on volume. In itself not so much of a problem but the choice for sides was somewhat limited. Nice ambiance, close to the “Kaasmarkt”, great walking area in the center of Alkmaar.
Very close to the cheese market. We had dinner here using our Amex benefits. The food and service were good. The ambiance was great, until it got busier and a bit loud but not uncomfortable.
