Hotel Tannenhaus

My stay at Hotel Tannenhaus turned into a satisfying retreat. The double room with a view of the serene woods provided an ideal sanctuary. The culinary experience became outstanding, with a luxurious breakfast offering fresh juices and beautiful dinner options, along with tremendous vegetarian choices. The hotel's sauna turned into a calming oasis, and the attentive staff made our stay without a doubt memorable. Hotel Tannenhaus offers a harmonious combination of comfort, culinary delights, and heat hospitality, making it a standout choice in Schöneck. I am already looking forward to the next visit

We were celebrating a birthday at Tannenhaus in Schöneck today and were surprised by the quality of food served here. The food can compete with some of the best I have tried around the world and is unlike anything I've had in this part of Germany! The service was mostly excellent, but one of the waiters seemed a bit impatient and blunt. Other than that the entire experience was impeccable from beginning to end. The interior is finished to a high standard and everything looks and feels upscale. We'll certainly return next time we're in the area.

The pasta has truffle oil in it - but it doesn’t say anything about it in the menu. Since truffle has a very, very distinctive smell and taste it’s simply not for everyone - and the sauce wasn’t balanced at all. The atmosphere is nice but the quality of the food doesn’t match the prices. Beer is alright so one star for the beer and one star for the atmosphere.
