Hotel Tauernhof

Went here with the rest of my family (4 people) last august, the sights were amazing its location being not too far from the airport is great, lots to do within a 15 min drive. I loved the fact that for breakfast you can make your own waffles whatever way you want in the morning and in the afternoon they is an ice-cream area with lots of toppings. The 3 pools were great. That staff went above and beyond in terms of service. They have lots for kids to do from go-karts to a soft-play area. Possibly my best summer holiday yet. If you have the chance, it would be a mistake not to come here.

Hotel Tauernhof exceeded all expectations! The combination of traditional Austrian charm and modern comfort made our stay truly special. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered beautiful mountain views. The wellness area was a perfect retreat after a day of skiing or hiking — relaxing and well-equipped. The breakfast and dinner buffets were outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. What stood out most was the warm and friendly service — the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A perfect choice for a relaxing getaway in Großarl. We’ll definitely be returning!

Lovely saunas/spas. The rooms didn't feel fully prepared (found things left from previous guests). Restaurant was nice and the staff were great 👍 Nice big breakfast but couldn't decide what to have. Could use more warm vegetarian options other than eggs.
