Hotel Tauernhof

Having recently returned after staying at Tauernhof I had to share our experience. Everything about our stay was superb. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Despite our late arrival the kitchen had prepared a light meal for us on our first night. All the meals were amazing, we stayed for two weeks and were presented with different meal options for our entire stay. They were also able to accommodate for the dietary requirements of our party. In addition the leisure facilities were fantastic. The sauna facilities were like visiting a spa every afternoon. Thank you to all at the hotel for making our holiday such a lovely experience.

Spent a week here snowboarding, amazing staff, amazing food, amazing views from the back room. It was still snow covered so made it all a nicer view. Drink and Food service was just outstanding, very attentive and on the go clearing plates and bringing your next delicious meal. The buffets were a nice style of healthy eating of local food, Try it all. Warm bread rolls were my favourite being a bread fiend haha. Lots on offer for breakfast. By the way, the linzer cake was just beautiful! The ski/snowboard storage room has plenty space for boot drying and ski's, small amount of space for snowboards so sometimes had to just find a spot to put your board for the night, doesn't help our boards are far larger than skis and the resort seems more popular with skiers 😄 Spa area is really good, plenty space, clean and during our visit really quiet despite their being a fair few guests staying, the pool is a nice relaxing place and worth a dip before the spa for sure. I love to snowboard and Kaprun has made it more special thanks to this lovely stay at this hotel.

We upgraded to a room at the back of the hotel with a mountain view. It was very spacious and comfortable. We arrived about 8.30 in the evening which was after dinner service but they saved us a meal and made us feel very welcome. All the staff and the owners were great throughout the whole stay. The hotel provided us with a summer card, this allows free use of lifts and buses so it was a real bonus. Would definitely stay again.
