Hotel Tbilisi Tower

Tbilisi Tower Hotel is a bit out of the way from the city center, so you’ll likely need a taxi and deal with some heavy traffic. The elevators are a weak point—only two for a big building, and they’re slow, so I had to take the stairs a few times. Still, the hotel is clean, my room was super comfortable, and the pool was a nice extra. Breakfast was very nice, with a good variety to choose from. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which is convenient.

The hotel rooms are spacious, but it is a bit far from downtown. Normally, hotels outside the city are expected to be newer, very neat, and well-maintained, but this one felt just average. Amenities like a toothbrush kit are not provided, and the TV does not support YouTube or internet streaming. The lifts are very slow and take a long time. Breakfast is just okay. They charge 5 Lari per day for a charger adapter, which seems like a local setup. I booked it for travel to Kazbegi in the morning but after staying here, we felt that even hotels in the city would be fine.

Absolutely horrible hotel to stay in. Rooms are not cleaned properly. Things get stolen from your room. Reception desk staff are very rude and don’t solve anything. Hotel location is on a main road and far from the city centre. Breakfast is horrendous and not quality hot food. Would not recommend booking here at all. Marriott courtyard is the best, recommend staying and booking there.
