Hotel Tea County

Hotel Tea Country, Dibrugarh W.B is one of the finest budget friendly boutique hotel. I stayed there for just a night on my return journey from Arunachal Pradesh Road trip. This hotel is on some Convey Road which is hardly 8 to 10 kms from NH. I just walked in with my wife and children for night halt and was truly amazed with the property all together. My first great and pleasant experience was at Front Desk. Mr. Santu Sonawal was so polite and courteous that I will always remember. The room provided was super excellent with all amenities that one could think of. And there Restaurant and Food was like icing on top. What an elaborate menu they have. Being pure Non Vegetarians and the varities of choices we had, we ended up spending more on Dinner bill than our room tariff 😃😀 Excellent Sizzlers, Non Veg. Platter, amazing ethnic fish preparation, Tandoor etc. I will be sharing the pics as well. And next day morning Buffet was just super amazing. Though we had negotiated room rate without Breakfast Buffet as we had to leave early morning, Mr. Santu and his Manager insisted that we have Breakfast as well in the same deal. They also ensured that the Buffet was laid half an hour early so that we don't get late on our journey ahead. Wide assortment of Morning Breakfast items. Both Indian and Continental. What a delight it was. Being a Chai lover, the Masala Tea in Kullad in the Buffet was something that really won my heart. My experience with Family was truly out of the world and an experience that I will always cherish. Looking at some negative comments and reviews, I would just say that in Service sector , your attitude and behaviour towards the staff matters a lot. If you are courteous and polite your will surely get similar treatment and vice versa. If I ever go towards Dibrugarh, Hotel Tea County would be the only Hotel that I would like to stay at unless they refuse to entertain me 😄 For me it's no less than a 5 Star Hotel experience.

Rooms were really good. Super corporate rooms. Breakfast was good, but it doesn't seem to change, everyday it's the same items. Parking is available, but no valet parking. Staff are courteous. Rooms service was amazing and very helpful. Overall a much worth-it stay.

Love tea county for food experience. I have visited a lot of times and each time I feel like coming back again. So this time we ordered drinks and just one veg tandoori platter for pre lunch. It took some time but it was worth it. The platter had so much food variety for around Rs 500. Worth every bite and money. Must visit. The bill was around 1k as we ordered desserts as well.
