The reception was very helpful giving us tips for our stay and also arranging reservations to various locations. They also provide a free shuttle that takes you to an organised beach . The rooms were clean and cozy but missing a few things such as a comfy couch/chair and a drying rack. Nice outside bar for a nightcap.
We had a wonderful stay at Tempo di Mare. The level of service was excellent, the staff was incredibly attentive. The city centre is a short walk away, and we rented bikes to get to the beach. Breakfast was delicious – with plenty of sweet and savoury options, including granita! We stayed here at the start of July (beginning of high season) and found the overall experience quite luxurious yet reasonably priced. 100% recommended!
The hotel felt a bit old, but overall, we were happy with the service. Just a heads-up if you’re thinking about using the bike rental service arranged through the hotel. We rented electric bikes through an outside company arranged through the hotel. The guy from the rental place said he couldn’t take card payments and asked us to pay €30 in cash, which we did right there. He gave us a rental agreement with the amount written on it. Later on, with help from the hotel staff, we found out that the contract (which was in Italian) actually said payment was due when we returned the bikes. The next day, when we brought the bikes back, the same guy claimed we hadn’t paid and charged us again. Since the contract didn’t say anything about us paying upfront, we had no way to prove it—and ended up having to pay another €30. So if you’re renting bikes through the hotel, make sure you only pay after the rental, and definitely don’t give them cash in advance. Hopefully, this helps someone avoid the frustrating experience we had.
