Swimming pool doesn’t work before the breakfast.
We expected more from our stay. To be fair, the plus points … The location is good, close to the thermal. There are nice views from where you have breakfast What we didn’t like … Their systems seem to be in a mess. We received more than one email saying our reservation had been cancelled (wasn’t the case). It’s inconvenient that the reception and restaurant are in a different hotel, Bristol Palace, next to this hotel. The hotel itself is in a shabby state for a 4 star hotel. Examples, showers really poor, old decor, holes in table cloth at breakfast. Their policy on paying for children felt unfair. We had to pay 50 euros extra per night, however we weren’t given a bed for our child, so left wondering what we were paying extra for. Staff were cold and unfriendly.
The hotel is terrible! I don't recommend going here! This is by no means 4 stars and certainly not worth the money!!! The rooms have poor sound insulation, the pool is cold and dirty! You could only swim in a small, warm jacuzzi. Saunas are small in size. The food is dietary, but not always tasty. And the service...horrible! The staff is not friendly (especially the waiters). And if you complain about something, they will send you away! No one cares, no one will apologize, and you will be to blame for their mistakes!!! During our 3 days stay, we went to change our key cards 3 times because they didn’t work!!!!! This is unbearable!!! Because of this, we found ourselves in unpleasant situations 2 times when the cards in the elevator did not work and it was impossible to go anywhere or even get into the room. We lived in the old building and to get to the reception in the new building we had to walk through the hotel's passages using 3 elevators. It was unforgettable when, after the spa, I went to my room in a robe and swimsuit, my card once again did not work and the elevator automatically took me to the 0th floor (to the exit where the reception used to be). There was not a soul there and it was cold! We had to wait for either someone to call the elevator or to enter the hotel from the street. Then it turned out that both of our cards no longer worked and we could not get into the room or use the elevator. As a result, we are in bathrobes, wandering around a cold hotel at 21 pm, when there are no staff in the hotel, and a grandfather is sitting at the reception who doesn’t care. His job is to wait until the morning, and let the rest deal with dissatisfied customers in the morning. In the morning, a very nice (unless you came to complain, of course) girl at the reception sent us to hell! And by the way, they don’t have a complaint book! I was given a piece of paper (which was even kept folded) where you simply tick off what you liked or didn’t like. Absurd! There aren’t even fields where a person can state the problem they’ve encountered! And since this is not a book, but a stupid piece of paper, where is the guarantee that it will not be thrown out? Who will keep these pieces of paper anyway? This is just dust in the eyes of visitors! We didn't read the reviews when we chose this hotel, but in vain! A lot of people write complaints about the hotel, and at the same time they complain about the same thing! Conclusion: the hotel staff does not care at all about the systematic complaints and claims of visitors, nothing changes!
