Great hotel, very good food. It was a very nice experience and we relaxed a lot. I recommend massage! It’s amazing, the best I ever had.
The resort and the hotel are quiet, but the local administration has not done much for the beach, park, lakes in the vicinity. The resorts are well-kept, but not the green spaces around, except in the center, in front of the restaurants and taverns. The only major inconvenience is the distance between the resorts and the beach 500 -1000m.
Stayed with family for about a week, and our rooms were on the top fifth floor. The place was nice enough but has some serious drawbacks that did not reflect the high price we paid for our stay. - Wifi was not available on our floor (fifth), and we had to use data. - Location may seem a bit isolated at first, but if explored, the hotel is right next to a busy street with various restaurants and shops as well as a 10 minute walk from the beach. The route takes you through a beautiful park and lake! - Shower water pressure was ridiculously low. It felt like washing yourself with a drinking fountain at times. - While air conditioning within the rooms was fine, none of the public interior domains (restaurant, lobby, etc) had air conditioning. Mind you, this took place during the he peak of August. - No menus in english, were literally told "YOU'RE IN ROMANIA" - No telehones or a safe available in the rooms, which were also kind of small. I was alone in mine, so that was fine, but I was traveling with two couples. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it might have been for those with children. The cleaning service didn't do much, other than changing the towels. I believe my room has been cleaned properly only once out of my 6 day stay. None of the toiletries have been replaced, again, aside from towels. - Forgot to add: I believe one of the cleaning ladies had a lunch break in my room because after returning one day, my room smelled of food even though I had nothing of the sort... opened the door and was hit with the smell of bologna. - Dinner service also included a performance, though the volume at times was ridiculously loud. We sat rather far from the stage, yet we could still barely hear one another. - The food was fine, but it appears the kitchen was not prepared for the number of guests. - The dining room was rather small compared to how booked the hotel was during our stay + no air conditioning!
