This was our first time in NOLA and we had a great time! The rooms were clean, hotel was located walking distance to almost everything. Secondly the front desk staff was hands down the best!!! Kerry who worked evening shift was very kind and attentive, he quickly changed our room when the AC broke and he was kind enough to loan us his umbrella when we were heading out for dinner. Also giving a shout out to Gwen who was very kind to us on check in!!! I will definitely be coming back to hotel Theo on my next trip to NOLA!!!!
Kerry at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, he was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His customer service was top-notch—he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He truly made us feel like valued guests, and his professionalism and kindness stood out. While the room service left something to be desired, and we experienced an issue with the AC not being addressed as promised, Kerry’s outstanding service made a lasting impression. Thanks to him, our overall experience at the hotel was still a positive one. We hope the management recognizes what a great asset Kerry is to the team
I booked this after Hilton Honors recommended it over other hotels in the area for this particular road trip. As others have mentioned, it is a three star hotel for a reason. PROS: Many shampoos, drinking cups, free TV viewing selections, bedtime lights, electrical outlets, closet with equipment & solid bedroom provided. Very polite front desk attendants, quick valet service & well-designed lounge areas. HIT OR MISS: It’s not too noisy in the hallways but sometimes you might hear noisy guests on occasion. Some of the in-hotel restaurant options might appeal but I can’t eat half those food combos nor can I stay long on these trips so it will vary based on what the trip is like for various users. CONS: Like many of these hotels, the Wifi did not work (on either visit) no matter what passwords were provided and cellular reception was bad so that’s the main complaint. The A/C was okay to adjust but then started making weird fan breakdown noises so I flipped it off and just used my other wireless fans. My particular room also had a mild water leak in the restroom that I noted to the front desk. There is also no microwave, it’s in a questionable downtown area of town & there is tons of construction in this area. It is an otherwise decent stay (extended or short, it will suffice) but like many have mentioned, it’s three star hotel that is convenient but still does have limitations. Until the main company helps enhance this particular hotel and helps fix some of the maintenance, it’s going to remain a passable but far from great experience.
