Hotel Tiefenbrunner

Amazing stay in the summer of 2025. Perfect location in the middle of town, amazing staff. Breakfast and evening meal superb. I can see why so many people are regular visitors. We may join them.

Firstly, I had a great holiday, which the Tiefenbrunner contributed so much to. Thank you. There are a few issues I'd like to mention: Salad buffet: is it possible to put a card, in German and English, next to each salad buffet item, so to be able to identify the food? As a vegetarian, I was often unsure if I could eat several of the items. Antibacterial hand gel/foam: when I visited in 2022 and 2023, the dispenser next to the buffet had an antibacterial agent in it, which was particularly important after Covid, and for general hygiene, due to so many people using the same utensils. This year, the dispenser was empty, as was the one inside the rear of the hotel. Dirty clothes and walking boots in the dining room: I have been in other hotels where the wearing of dirty (or even clean) walking boots in the dining room has not been permitted. In one instance during my recent stay, a fellow tourist was wearing dirty boots at breakfast time, but on another, a fellow British tourist wore filthy walking trousers (covered in mud) for four mornings in a row. I thought this to be very unpleasant, and disrespectful to the hotel, staff, and fellow guests. Overall, my holiday was a great success; a thank you again for the usual high standards that the Tiefenbrunner sets.
