Hotel Torre Del Sud

Five stars service, very kind staff, always available for any question or request. Fair price for summer period. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fair enough. The position of the hotel allows the customer to reach seaside in lesser than 30 minutes, and you can have lunch or dinner in Modica downtown in just 5 minutes. It's strategic. It's just a pity that the hotel has not any pool, it would have been great. There is the chance to book suite rooms with little private terraces with just few euros more, and also to book a room with private sauna and jacuzzi.

The place is okay but not perfect. No charging for laptop, the wifi is very very bad quality, restaurant food is meh, the breakfast is nearly only sweet stuff but is kid of fancy. The room is clean but pillows are horrible, the blanket is not so good either. The air conditioning is good and working well, room is also clean. Staff speaks some english but not enought. It is an okay hotel. Only the wifi is annoying, works but slow.

The receptionist (Antonio) is really aggressive(the one at check in time was very friendly), I asked for a taxi 30 min before the bus. he called their own private service, which promised ro arrive in 20 min, but he arrived in 30 amd made me lose airport bus. the receptionist starts to blame me because I shoud reserve the taxi in (really not a joke) previous night in a very aggressive and defensive way. really terrible and unreliable services by the hotel. Missing flights is ok by this hotel's standard. - Very bad wifi connection. - Breakfast is mediocre (hot coffee and some pasta pieces). - Mattresses are terrible, they provide no support for the back - pillows are very low quality sponges. not recommended unless you have no other choice (other hotels in modica bassa are way more professional and have high quality services)
