Great hotel. Breakfast was nice, staff was perfect. Highly recommend the room with terrace Barely more expensive and were able to spend the evenings on our private terrace overlooking the Pallazo Vecchio. One of the most peaceful moment of the trip. Location is perfect, next to all the main landmarks and the room was just what’s needed.
The rooftop has one of the most beautiful city views I’ve ever seen. The rooms are nice, our bed was large and comfortable. They could get slightly better pillows but they were fine. The gentleman on reception from the 6-8 March was lovely, welcoming and friendly. And Edlira was absolutely lovely! Her energy at breakfast was very welcomed - she was attentive, and kind and should be given a raise because she is always a busy! Overall a lovely stay and some interesting little rooms to explore in the hotel.
Hotel Torre Guelfa in Florence is beautifully decorated and uniquely charming, with a prime central location. The two older reception staff members were not very welcoming and short-tempered, but the Filipina lady at breakfast was delightful – friendly, charming, and spoke excellent English. Great decor and location, but service could improve.
