Hotel Toubkal

I enjoyed the stay: location (very close to old medina and bars in the nearby), staff (really nice), breakfast (rich, good, and with a large timeslot). It seemply needs some renovation.

We spent one night with the family at this hotel. From the entrance, we were shocked by the outdated, 1970s-style furniture and design. The elevator has no inner doors, making it quite an adventure for children to use. In the room — shock and horror: the dirtiest carpet I’ve ever seen in my life, peeling hallway walls, and a table that had been wiped but was still sticky. We were invited into the room even though it wasn't prepared for four people, so we stood there awkwardly watching a lady bring in and set up two folding beds. It was hard to overlook all these things, but later we noticed that the bed had a comfortable mattress, quality sheets, and cozy pillows. The bathroom was clean, with good towels. Although we slept well that night, we would never return to this hotel. Not recommended!

The receptionist is very unprofessional and ridiculously RUDE!!! I have stayed in this hotel for one week and always come back, but I get same energy of the receptionist !! If I was the owner of this hotel she would not be working anymore at my hotel!! Either you treat your customers with respect or you just stay out of hotell industry simple as that!!! The other staff is very respectful and kind!! The is only this one little girl that thinks she’s something and think that she can treat anyone however she wants!! That doesn’t work with everyone!! Some people are afraid of confrontation imagine how they would feel when she gives them this kind of attitude!!
