What a gem of a hotel! We stayed for just 1 night after a driving holiday around the Alsace. Ideally located for the spa town of Baden Baden and Karlsruhe airport (both 15 mins drive) -it's a perfect stop-over for either destination. Decor is traditional - which really adds to the cosy, homely feel - and the staff are super-friendly and accommodating. The restaurant also gets top marks - with tasty local dishes as well as classic fave's like a very well presented home-made burger (delicious), a penne bolognese and even a curry dish! Breakfast was equally fab too. As a small, family-run hotel this more than competes with the bigger hotels in the town centre. Highly recommended.

Its traditional decor creates a unique, almost time-travel-like experience, adding to its character. Located just 10 minutes from the thermal city of Baden-Baden, it is a hidden gem for those exploring Alsace.
The hotel is located in a small idyllic villige in the heart of the mountains. Our room was warm and cozy and had everything needed for a relaxed weekend getaway. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I can highly recommend.
