Hotel Traube Thalkirchdorf

I know the Hotel Traube since many years and it just keeps its top quality. The staff over the years, although obviously changed, has a genuine friendliness besides being effecient and professional in what they do. The different dishes are always amazing and i like the fact that everything is locally sourced. Hence, I keep coming back, even if for various reasons it takes a while.

Highly recommended for young and old. We've been here a few times. The rooms and room service are really nice and spacious, and the service is also very efficient and clean. There are various rooms here, from single rooms to double rooms of various sizes to family rooms. Everything you need is there. There's also a swimming pool, sauna, saltwater pool, and massages 💆‍♀️. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, is absolutely top-notch. You can get half board for a great price and then theoretically enjoy four courses in the evening. The entire staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. There's so much to do here: hiking from easy to difficult, cycling, swimming in the Alpsee, boating, and fishing. There are various cable cars that take you up the mountain. We'll be back.

We spent a long weekend in April at the Hotel Traube and were completely satisfied: we had a spacious room with a balcony, the food was excellent and the wellness area was very nice. Another plus point: you can start various shorter or longer hikes directly at the hotel. We'd love to come back.
