Hotel Turkish House

This was our first visit to Istanbul and if we visit another 10 times we wouldn't consider any different hotel! This hotel is pure class and luxury. It's clear that an awful lot of money has been invested in turning the former building into a boutique hotel of this calibre! From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home providing tremendous information on local sights and restaurants etc! If you do visit this hotel we strongly recommend room 301 (the only suite) the bay window provides a great view which is somewhat reduced by the scruffiness of the property opposite. This of course is no reflection on Hotel Turkish House!

This is an extremely charming boutique hotel in a quiet part of Sultanemhet, walking distance to major attractions. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, the breakfast delicious with made to request eggs. Complimentary tea/coffee provided with homemade cakes and cookies all day. The staff is very helpful and service oriented. Bonus: garden.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful stay. Being 5-10 minutes by foot from the Blue Mosque, Ayasofya, Topkapi palace and the Sultanahmet metro station is a huge plus. Every single member of the staff we interacted with was super helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs or answer questions. Our room was clean and cosy and the Turkish breakfast we had every morning was delicious (choose the menemen every single time, you won’t regret it). The hotel and its staff fully deserves the 5 star rating it has!
