Hotel U 3 Pštrosů is a true gem in Prague: located right next to the Charles Bridge, offering an excellent breakfast, clean and stylish rooms, guaranteed peaceful sleep, and a friendly staff that completes the experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay in the heart of the Old Town – this is it. No sugarcoating – this hotel is every bit as excellent as they say, and even more.

The location of this hotel could not be better. Our window literally opened up to the Charles Bridge, and was steps away from any cafe, shop and restaurant you could ever want. It’s tucked away just enough from all the hustle and bustle, but, the bridge gets very loud at night (keep in mind if you are a light sleeper). The hotel has a very charming old world feel, almost historical. Our room was all we needed for the value, but ran hot even with the window open at night. Hotel breakfast included was perfect with great offerings and plenty to choose from. Concierge was very accommodating in holding our bags until the room was ready, and expedited the process so that we didn’t have to wait until 3 PM. Cannot recommend Prague itself as a city , but also would recommend this hotel and will return!!

Food was really good but I do take offence at being asked if I want mayo then charged for it with ought saying it’s chargeable! When I asked for the bill and saw this, I told the waiter that I wasn’t told there was a charge. He curtly replied…. It’s in the menu! I didn’t look at every page of the flipping menu! I had asked for extra butter as the tiny amount is not suitable for the amount of bread! I was told this was extra! Lovely food but I won’t eat here again! I’m surprised I wasnt charged for the cutlery! BE AWARE….. menu prices do not include VAT / TAXES and this wasn’t explained nor was it written in the menu. The 10% service charge is the only thing mentioned!
