This hotel was perfect for me - good value, quiet, comfortable and well-located. Breakfast was good and plentiful. My room faced the rear courtyard so it was very quiet. Initially I thought not staying in the old town would be a disadvantage but Vinohrady had great transport links and wasn't as overwhelmingly touristy as the old town. I'd happily stay again.
The room was clean, and the windows were double glasses, so it was quiet during both the day and night. Many restaurants close by to hotel. The beds were comfy, and the big headpillows felt so nice. The receptionist was friendly and helped us with any questions that we had. The closest tram and metro are only 5 minutes by foot. Only 2 stops to old town square. Warm water and strong pressure in the shower. Wi-Fi router in the room, so the signal was never a problem. Breakfast is open from 7am. All of us 5 people were satisfied with many varieties of foods. Pastries was tasty, and the cheese cake was delicious.
To my point of view, this is not a real 4 star hotel. It is more a good 3 star hotel. Positive points : - 5mn walk from the metro A and the tramway station. - The area is nice with many restaurants around. - Little supermarket just in front of the hotel opened until late. - Good breakfast. - Nice corridor in the hotel. - Kind lady at the reception. - In the room there are soaps & shampoo (no body cream), shower caps, pads to remove make up, cotton swab, slippers. Little fridge. Glass of water provided. Locker. Hair dryer. Of course towels. Negative points : - 20mn by public transportation & walk to the Astronomic clock. - For the same price 160€ you can stay in the old town if you are well organised. - I founded the mattress not to be a very good quality (it is brand new)- i believed it was a foam mattress - it was ok since it is still new. - The room a bit suffocating (opening the window was not an option otherwise i would hear the street and tramway noise). - No air conditioning in all rooms. - Glasses are missing in the bathroom to put in the toothbrush & paste - Reception opens from 7am to 7pm - at first I thought that it was enough but actually it is a problem because if you have questions like where to eat, get an advise, there is no one to ask outside of those hours 😞. So this is not a 4 star hotel !
