Excellent two nights stay here. Lawson convenience store is on the first floor, but you’ll need to use your room card to enter. Second floor has good amounts of coin laundry. Rooms were clean and a nice air cleaner/humidifier was included. Bath tub included some scented bubbles packets, which was a nice touch. The staff were wonderful and the cleaners were super nice with their greetings! Will definitely stay here again!

I found this hotel to be very overpriced for what it was but I guess the convenience of being in front of the park and being able to buy the parks In the hotel is part of the reason. We found the staff knew little to no English but that did not stop them. They all had this little device so we were able to easily communicate. We apologize for our lack of Japanese but appreciate their patience. Room was small but clean. Amenities were limited but they had all the basics. There is an ice machine on each floor but no water which was strange. Vending machine prices are higher than outside universal city. Please give the gentleman working at the taxi station on 6/22 around 8pm a raise. He was outstanding! Getting a taxi was a bit confusing but he took the time to call us a taxi, find out the prices, give stickers to our kids that were a bit anxious after a super long day and when we left he took out an Elmo puppet to say goodbye to them. Their faces lite up with a huge smile And we were very grateful for his kind gesture. That is the type of customer service we expected from a universal hotel.

This service at this hotel is excellent from the kind woman who checked me in to the staff that answers the phone and brings more towels coffee etc. I was very happy with this part of the stay. My room had an amazing view I paid extra to have the largest room offered and extra to have the exceptional view. The issues began with how cheap the hotel owners must be. There is no water in the room and no water refill station? When I called they said there are vending machines for you to purchase water?? I am paying 50,000 yen a night $350 and I have to buy water? There is no gym in this hotel. After spending a extremely hot day in universal studios you come back to 27 Celsius 80 Fahrenheit hallways to your room and a hot room because you have to leave a key card in a slot to keep lights and ac on. If you leave one of your cards in the room just to return to the room the cleaning attendant removes it. I refused all room cleaning and left the do not disturb for the rest of my trip also very disappointed by this, I paid extra for breakfast to be added to my reservation this was just as disappointing as the hot room the breakfast was middle school cafeteria food at best we barley ate the first night and did not use the vouchers and paid for breakfast elsewhere. So to sum this up the hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to the entrance to universal benefit - if you pay enough you will have a beautiful view but it all ends there.
