The room was large, quietly and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower and toilet were in separate rooms. The wifi was easy to setup and very fast. Our stay included a breakfast that was excellent with a lot of options. The staff were all super nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone that looking to stay in Krems.

Room was nice and clean, it was a small double bed with TV and bathroom, pretty much this price category standard. Breakfast has everything you need, the freshness of food was also great, eggs are prepared as you like them by request. Another strong factor of the hotel was the staff, very nice, polite and friendly with natural smile on their face :)

Disappointed by Lack of Flexibility – A Note for Fellow Travelers I would like to share my recent experience with Hotel unter Den Linden as a word of caution to other travelers. Unfortunately, due to a sudden and unexpected illness of my wife, we had to cancel our trip, including our stay at this property. While I fully understand that hotels have cancellation policies and that travel insurance is important, I had hoped for a more understanding and flexible approach, especially when genuine health issues are involved. I explained our situation in detail and kindly requested either a waiver of the cancellation fee or a credit for a future stay. Sadly, the hotel declined both options and charged the full amount for the cancelled booking. What made this particularly disappointing is that during the same journey, several other accommodation providers showed empathy and flexibility—either waiving fees or applying the payment as a credit. It was a long weekend we had planned carefully, and this lack of goodwill stood in stark contrast to the positive experiences we had elsewhere. To be clear, I respect that the hotel followed their stated policy. However, this rigid approach does not reflect the kind of hospitality and customer care that builds loyalty or encourages return visits. I have paid the full cancellation fee, but I would not consider staying here again based on how the situation was handled. For other travelers: if you’re considering this hotel, please make sure you are fully covered by insurance, as you should not expect any flexibility in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
