Hotel Vacances Bleues Villa Modigliani

We stayed one night at this hotel. It has an adorable courtyard, and is across the street from a cinema, and next door to a small market...very convenient for walking to a movie or grabbing a few groceries. The hotel breakfast options are excellent, and in my opinion the best we had while in Paris. There are separate toilet and shower areas, so that is convenient if more than one guest is staying. Heated towel warmer is a nice added feature. The fridge and coffee maker are oddly placed immediately to the left after entering the door. Key card must be inserted to activate the room's power supply. Overall the hotel is nice and I'd stay again. The value, comfy beds, proximity to the cinema and market, and the delicious breakfast are the perks.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff is friendly and attentive. The included breakfast is great, with lots of options. The location is even better, within walking distance to many major Parisian sites. The only critique I could offer is that the air conditioning in the room did not work, but thankfully the windows opened for a cool breeze.

Had a 2-star hotel experience while paying the 4-star hotel price👎 1. Reception falsely informed us that breakfast is included at check-in, leaded to an unpleasant drama. All our encounters with the reception gentlemen are very unpleasant - they are very difficult to communicate with. But ladies serving at breakfast and the manager are very reasonable staffs with great communication skills, who resolved the drama and we truly appreciated them. 2. Reception unable to provide extra quilt in the evening, stated “you should have asked when the housekeepers are still at work, there is nothing I could do at this hour” 3. No public shower facilities or gym/sauna. No where to shower after a long flight and checked-in early.
