We had a great stay at this hotel! It was very clean, well-maintained, and overall exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The room was a bit smaller than we expected, and unfortunately, there was no microwave in the room. We had to use a shared microwave near the elevator, which was a bit inconvenient, especially when traveling with a child. Still, the stay was pleasant and quiet, and we would recommend it to others — just keep in mind the small room size and shared amenities.
Not the best experience but the staff were friendly and the restaurants were okay. Most of the bora park water slides were down or just unavailable and almost everything at the arcade was down, some stuff at the arcade when you tapped your card it would pay for it then the game wouldn't start or work. There was no staff to ask for help or refund the money wasted.
I am primarily giving this hotel, a one star rating due to a very serious safety issue, which was made clear during an evacuation event. We visited this hotel on June 23. Due to a storm, there were a power outages which I can understand completely. What is a very serious concern is when the evacuation alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning, there was not a single staff on site at any floor or in the main lobby or outside, give any information to all the guests who were gathered. The guests were left to figure out the evacuation to themselves, and not given any information in terms of when to go back in, what happened, was there a safety issue, And what to do. If this was a real emergency situation and not a result of power outages, someone could’ve gotten hurt. Let’s add that the majority of a guests or parents with very young children. The only person on site was the security guard was struggling to turn off the alarm and answer the guests. When we got back in our room a little before 3 AM, The alarm went off again for about five seconds (which terrified my daughter), then turned off and again no explanation was given. We went to the reception desk the next day to get a shrug from the reception say yes we had a meeting about that. That was the extent of the information that we got the entire stay at the hotel for those three days and two nights. There was not a single email, an apology, an explanation, or any attempt to make it right with a guest. We did attempt to give feedback in person, and we did attempt to give feedback by email. All of which has gone ignored. Do not expect this hotel to give you any type of credit or attempt to make it right when things go wrong. If you’re OK with that, then I would say the hotel waterslides are amazing and the bracelet which gives access at all times the indoor and outdoor is definitely worth it. The food is overpriced, but to be expected.
