Hotel Valle Rossa

Found this to be the perfect place to stay when visiting Padre Pio. Right in the middle, so you can walk around 10mins, up towards the Church or you can go to the city centre, also around 10mins where restaurants and stores are. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the same price as the other hotels and restaurants. But what I love about the place are the staff, very welcoming, nice and helpful, especially the young chap at the concierge and the lovely gentleman who served us during meal times. The place is also just a 3-minute walk from the bus stop that will take you back to Foggia so if you don't have any car, that's a big ++.

The hotel is nice, the staff are friendly, kind and provide service with a great attitude. Breakfast is good, there is a lot to choose from.

The beds are not great, but not terrible. The windows have shutters in case you want to sleep for a long time. We could hear other people through the walls and I'm pretty sure they could hear me as well because they laughed at the jokes my dad ignored. The a/c was either set by the hotel staff or was set automatically when we left the "electricity jack" in the wall. They use a 6.3mm jack for electricity instead of a card. We were trying to use the TV but couldn't switch channels and I found out if I switch to the subtitle menu then it starts working. The fridge also did jack, as it did not cool our food to fridge levels, it was just barely colder than the room which is not acceptable. Rooms were always clean and towels always replaced. Overall hotel not bad, but could be better.
