Hotel Vannucci

A flawless hotel with a natural quality of service you only find here and there in the very best old-fashioned hotels. Part of a family-run group of destinations in central Italy. The good humour of the staff, engaging and unforced, suggests a well-run positive style of management. We celebrated Trina’s birthday here with a group of a dozen local friends. It went superbly and everyone had the best time, reluctant to leave when it was all over. A more glamorous clientele appear to stay here or use the hotel’s facilities. When we have visited, the ratio has been about 60:40 Italians to overseas tourists. Again the staff are exceptionally good at handling both groups.

The most wonderful boutique hotel EVER! We initially booked 1 night only while on a little Umbrian road trip but ended up staying 4 nights as we just couldn't leave this hotel or Citta' della Pieve. Our superior room (109) was gorgeous, great mini bar, fab views, huge bathroom with double sinks, really nice wardrobes, we felt really comfortable and at home. The hotel is in the centre and, although the town is obviously very small, it is nice to be so close to everything. The breakfast was outstanding with anything you might fancy, including homemade cakes and lots of fresh fruit, too. The staff of the hotel are fantastic, friendly, easy going and accommodating. Big GRAZIE to Lina, Giulia, Emanuele and Melissa (and everyone else) for making our stay extra special. We'll be back next year if not sooner... Marta e Dan x
