How to do justice to Hotel Vera? It is sublime. Possibly the very nicest of hotels we have ever stayed in. From the warmth and charm of the hosts' welcome to the beautifully curated heritage spaces and oooh most comfortable bed this hotel sets a new high bar in comfort and style. The continental breakfast was superb, with excellent coffee. We stayed in a mid week night when the restaurant wasn't open so that's an excuse to return!

I have to say, this is an outstanding hotel. From the moment we checked in, I was impressed by Martin’s friendliness—he patiently walked us through every corner of the room. I absolutely loved the oil paintings in each room and the incredibly high ceilings. If you suffer from claustrophobia, you’ll definitely appreciate the ceiling height here, which is around four meters. Martin also recommended several restaurants and thoughtfully answered all my questions. What made me happiest was the scent of every bath and body product—they all smelled luxurious and refined, never cheap. The bed was dry, comfortable, and breathable. All in all, I’m truly delighted to have had such a wonderful experience at Vera.

This is absolutely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The exterior has a charming, vintage look, but the interior is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with attention to detail. The facilities are both convenient and aesthetically pleasing. The service was also exceptional—David warmly and thoroughly explained how to use everything in the room, making sure we were comfortable and well-informed. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.
