I stayed here for 2 nights and found the staff to be polite and friendly and the room itself was huge and luxurious. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant however breakfast was a complete let down. It had very limited options and I’m not sure who the target market is for that breakfast but I couldn’t only eat the eggs and the crepes. This seems to be the norm in Zanzibar hotels so I guess it is what it is but I was completely disappointed. If food is not very important for you, I would recommend this hotel.
Huge property with good rooms and prefect sunset ocean view. The staff are friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean with decent amenities. They have a Spa center, decent gym and a small waterpark with sadly only operates on weekends. The maintenance of the hotel can be a little better. Food was decent but it's a non alcoholic hotel. There is a nice coffee shop near reception inside the hotel. Outside the hotel there are no attractions and the hotel is approx 20-25 mins away from stone Town.
Our room was clean and well-maintained. The location isn’t ideal, but being just 20 minutes from the airport makes it convenient, especially for a short stay. The pool was unfortunately closed due to construction, which we weren’t informed about in advance. It would have been nice to know, especially since direct ocean access isn’t available. The food was fairly priced, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it’s a decent place for a short stopover—clean, convenient, and with good value for money in some aspects, though it didn’t quite feel fully worth the price paid.
