Superb hotel just a minute from the main station. The room was super spacious, with high ceilings, renovated bathroom and very clean. Nice stuff and quite. Very recomendable.

I stayed here for 2 nights and I am very happy with my decision to stay here. I booked a single room and it was beautiful, newly renovated and spacious, definitely enough space for one person. I had a view into the garden which was also a nice addition. The service was great, friendly and very helpful. Miss Bouchra worked there during my stay and she was very friendly, always smiling and beaming with joy. She’s definitely a jewel for this hotel. The hotel had a sauna which I took advantage of and used during my stay, it’s small but great! The location is perfect! It’s a 2 minute walk to the main train station and about a 5-10 minute walk to downtown where there’s lots of shopping and cute cafes. Restaurants are also in walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel!

Disappointed and Dismissed – Not What We Expected in Switzerland Switzerland has always held a special place in my heart, which makes this experience even more disheartening. We booked Hotel Victoria in Lausanne believing it to be a reliable four-star property. We were assured the rooms were air-conditioned — a key factor in our booking. When we arrived, not only was the air conditioning broken and leaking water, but the staff showed no concern. We were told repeatedly that nothing could be done, and that it might be fixed on Monday — but we were checking out before that. There was no room change, no fan offered, no empathy, not even a kind gesture to make us feel seen or heard. What saddened me most wasn’t the broken air conditioner — things happen — it was the cold and careless attitude. We weren’t treated with basic courtesy. It’s hard to reconcile this with the Switzerland I’ve loved for its beauty, warmth, and precision. I sincerely hope the management reflects on this, as hospitality is not just about amenities — it’s about how people are made to feel when things go wrong.
