Hotel Victoria

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Location is perfect right in the old town with the train station across the street. Rooms were nice and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The lobby feels upscale with its marble floors and artful lighting, but the staff greeted me like an old friend. My room was spacious and quiet, with a firm bed and blackout curtains that made mornings disappear (in a good way). Bathroom was spotless and felt modern — perfect water pressure and thoughtful touches like high‑quality toiletries. Breakfast buffet had everything I needed: warm pastries, smoky bacon, fresh fruit, and café‑style coffee that hit the spot. Right next to the tram stop, so getting around was a breeze. Prices were on the higher side for Nürnberg, but it felt worth it for the comfort and convenience. Ideal for business travelers or anyone who wants a touch of elegance without being pretentious.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Victoria in Nuremberg on May 17 and 18 and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel’s location—right on the edge of Old Town—is unbeatable, though accessing it via the busy one-way street can be tricky if you miss the entrance. Thankfully, we were greeted by the incredibly warm and professional Melda, who came out to the street and personally helped us navigate back to the hotel garage—a gesture that set the tone for our entire stay. Throughout our visit, Melda proved to be a standout guest relations host, offering thoughtful, candid suggestions for local activities and dining. She even managed to secure us a table at a fully booked Indian restaurant and arranged another amazing schnitzel dinner at a local gem—all while gently steering us away from less-than-stellar options with grace and humor. Her passion for helping guests truly shone through. Every staff member we encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast team—was equally gracious and seemed genuinely happy to be part of the Hotel Victoria family. While the location and accommodations were wonderful, it’s the people who make this hotel truly special. We look forward to returning.
