Hotel Victory Therme Erding

I don't understand the negative reviews here. People crying about the price? Really? Price is great for the quality of hotel accommodation and perks and amenities and finally, the build quality. This place is luxury build quality at every turn. Our bathroom is solid carrera marble. Whoa. What? Super advanced doors that are 2x width of normal doors for perfect quiet and super advanced technology at every turn. SO impressed. We only stay at 5 star hotels, but last minute flying demands required this hotel nearby. Wow. Great luck indeed!!!

The entire pool / spa experience is as expected and very fun, albeit somewhat crowded (we stayed early July). Easy to get there with s-Bahn from Munich. But a little walk from the station and the entire complex is in the middle of cornfields so if you want to combine your stay with nearby sightseeing of Erding, best with car. The hotel is clean and nice with friendly staff and very nice food for grown-ups in Reataurant Empire if you go with half-board. A major annoyance however was the lack of coffee making facilities and mini fridge in the hotel room, which meant I had to pay 8 euros just to get a cup of tea.

The hotel makes a very good impression at first glance - modern, appealing and well equipped. The location in particular is a big plus: the direct connection to the thermal baths is perfect for a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, a few flaws spoil the overall picture. On closer inspection, the cleanliness was not ideal - silverfish were spotted in the room, which doesn't exactly make for a pleasant feeling. In addition, the temperature in the room could not be regulated, even with the help of the staff it was not possible to cool it down, which significantly impaired our sleeping comfort. Visually top and unbeatable in terms of location, but there is still room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and room climate. Unfortunately too expensive for the price!
