Really friendly staff. This started when I telephoned to book the room. The room was well equipped, with a large bathroom ( with a bath and seperate shower), a small kitchenette and large room. The only drawback was the mattress was on the soft side. The breakfast was very good, due CoVid you had to order it in advance, but no worries if you needed more or wanted to change. The hotel is ideally situated for Jena city centre and the university. Please note that the hotel doesn't have a lot of parking spaces, so it is best to reserve one when you book.
Comfy hotel with nice staff and great location. The hotel is at the heart of Jena and accessible to all the crucial locations of Jena by walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is average. There are only two issues, the room has no kettles in case one wants to drink a cup of tea. The second one is that during the breakfast they make fresh fried egg for people in the room, but if not eaten it gets cold so using a warmer would be nice. I also reduced one star since the toilet was super smelly although seemed neat. Other than these, it is a great hotel and definitely recommended.
the room was very sterile. could hear other guests in other rooms too easily. breakfast was pretty good. location is nice.
