Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Berlin City

Somehow previously overlooked, this hotel is probably the best in Kreuzberg. Ignore the negative comments - our stay was flawless - staff was really helpful and available all the time, rooms were very clean and rather spacious, had everything we could need. You can opt out of the breakfast as there is an abundance of cafes and restaurants around almost any hour. U-bahn station is just a minute away with the busy Kotbusser-Tor as a next one. Totally recommend if you're in for the Kreuzberg vibes during your stay in Berlin.

Nice hotel. It is on the first floor, so it did take me 10 mins to locate! I paid in advance, but they took 100 euro because of the mini bar. I was expecting a posh lovely minibar... but it was rubbish. The prices and wine size didn't match, and sadly, it was a joke. But the room was nice and water lovely and warm!

There is really not much 4 star about this hotel except the price. Beds are not really comfy especially if you are a larger body type. No air condition, so the room temperature is almost unbearable in August. Room design is rather uncreative standard. Overall look is rather cheap and not really inviting and furniture is sometimes quite worn (broken cabinet door hinges, spotty mirrors, damaged lampshades). Room size is okay and cleanliness is good. Still certainly not the quality one would expect from a four star hotel in Germany, felt more like a low end 3 star budget hotel.
