Hotel Villa Albani

This was a bit of a disappointment to us but that may not be the hotels fault. We asked for a no smoking room and our room stank of it. There was still ash all over the remote control. The room was very small with no tea making facilities and we were not told about breakfast options my husband had to ask. My family were really looking forward to using the pool but found out it was extra and not included in the price however this is not clearly marked on the description and their pool is their best selling point. The man at the desk was very polite and friendly and spoke English but very casual and not in uniform or focused on customer service. The TV had Netflix capability! So for once on our trip we could watch something before bed. The beds were comfortable and the view from the balcony was stunning however the hotel is located in a rough part of town and this is not obvious when booking it. Not a place to stay when you want to explore the area. The room had air con but it wasn't very strong. I think if the hotel was non smoking and the pool was included in the price they would have a lot more visitors.

The people who worked at the hotel tried to scam us multiple times. The pool was good but the worst was that they rented the pool to people who didnt even stay at the hotel. One timed i got woken up by some room cleaners who came 9.am and i got really angry, the room also had very much bugs that we gotten bitten by in the night. all together i dont thimk you should stay here.

Avoid at all costs. If you are looking for stress free holiday in Italy then avoid this hotel. We booked this hotel for a week and we regretted sooo much. The rooms are dirty, shower covered in scale. Breakfast is a joke. One been told the breakfast is from 8-10am when we came at 9 there was no more ham, bread or cheese we been told finished because the guests ate it all - excuse me?! How u do not have enough FOOD for all your guests especially that we paid for that?! It happened twice during our stay. Once we been told that group came at 6 am and they eaten all bread. BUT YOU SAID BREAKFAST IS FROM 8-10?! First room we got the aircon and widow been broken and they said they can give us fan. No I am not paying you guys so much money for a fan! They moved us to different hotel for 2 nights which wasn’t great as we had to leave our elderly parents on their own in this hotel. Another JOKE you have to pay for the pool €12 euro all day or €8 euro for half day. - this pool is not worth even €2! The paint is peeling of, it’s dirty and the water is ice cold. Because of the issues with breakfasts and room we been told we got free pool for all our stay but when we came to the pool they been told no no we offered only for one day. Cheeky liars. Staff barely can speak English so you get even more frustrated. They keep talking to you in Italian even if they know you don’t understand them. Guys ENGLISH is international tourism language. I have been in many hotels, I don’t expect a lot but this was just too much. I used to work in hotel industry and this is the worst managed hotel eveeeeer. I can go on and on how horrible it was, even the town is depressing. What we could hear it wasn’t only us having the issue with them also other guests had complaints. It could be really nice place but it’s neglected by the owner. Oh I forgot to mention that in bathroom u got insects as well, shower was clogged. The room walls needs repaint. In the website u written that’s been renovated in 2022, what?, where? Owerall - horrible stay, left lots of bitterness. Staff all day sitting by the cafe, drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes. Lazy. You are shooting your self in the foot guys. Three simple advices from me: 1. Improve your breakfast as it’s RUBBISH 2. Make pool free and clean it 3. Clean and fix your bathrooms.
