Hotel Villa Borghi

Quite nice Villa which was renovated to a hotel. In the old building you can stay in the masters room and in the newer building it's modern, so for everybody. The park looks nice and you can have a walk, some drinks or go swimming in the pool. Everytime I enjoyed it to stay here.

Beautiful location. Very friendly staff… but the beds are terrible. IKEA furniture in the hotel. No new water after you finish your bottle of water in the room. You have to pay extra! Never seen this before. Almost no soap. No coffee machine in the room. And the rooms are just sterile. This hotel has so much potential but the owners clearly don’t care. Too bad

Full disappointment The main house and the park look so beautiful, but these are unfortunately the only good things - Staff: not friendly, doesn‘t care at all about the guests, and the guys who seem to be from the managing level don‘t even say hello; the kindest ones who do their job best are clearly the cleaning ladies; you don‘t feel welcomed and there is no service at all - Pool: We were here on 29th of May, it had 29 degrees, the pool was filled with clean water - but no deck chairs and still closed because „they are still waiting for summer to open it“; there was no information upfront and a reason why we chose this place - Room: completely without charm, too many signs of usage that it would need some updates, mold in the shower, super hard mattress - definitely worse than on the pictures online - Breakfast: the cheapest level you can imagine, not enough space for the amount of guests, quality of food horrible (croissants were old and dry), no table service - Parking: not enough spots for the amount of guests, apparently there is an underground parking too but we got never informed about it In the end we cancelled the last one of 3 nights, but also here the staff clearly didn‘t care & was not interested in knowing the reasons.
