Good hotel for a summer beach vacation. The hotel itself is pretty new (or freshly renovated), the rooms have everything you need. Great staff - they were always super helpful and super nice, literally the best part of our stay there. The location is great, although there are not a lot of restaurants nearby, so you have to keep in mind that you'll need some time to get to them. This is important considering two things - firstly, all restaurants close at 2pm and open again at around 7, and secondly the hotel rules forbid to bring the food to the room, so you can't quickly snack something for lunch (if there was one thing that i wish I could change - it would be this stupid rule). Terracina center is ~35 mins on foot, so it's still manageable to ger there. Other than that - great hotel, can recommend for stay (if you plan to rent a car - even better).
If you need to spend a few days in Terracina you can't go wrong staying at Hotel Villa Chiara. The staff is more than friendly and helpful and the property is clean and well looked after. We were there in early April and the restaurant wasn't open however there are several restaurants within walking distance and the city itself is a quick drive away. They have a fenced parking area which was very helpful for us as we were on a driving trip. Breakfast was continental but in a very nice area and once again the staff was awesome.
We stayed at Hotel Villa Chiara for a week. The property enjoys an excellent location, just a few steps from the seafront. It is a new hotel, with attention to detail, a garden to shelter from the heat and welcoming rooms - ours had a nice balcony. All the staff are professional and smiling, ready to satisfy our every need. In addition to the very kind staff at the Reception led by Chiara, the Housekeeping is also impeccable - Michela was adorable. The breakfast is generous and varied, including a savory buffet and a wide selection of sweet pastries. We recommend Hotel Villa Chiara without reservations, and will definitely be back next summer.
